Installation process requirements for stainless steel pipes

The installation method of stainless steel pipe is the same as that of ordinary carbon steel, and the subsequent process requirements are required in some processes.

1. The stainless steel material should not be in direct contact with other metal and should be padded with non-metallic materials such as wood or rubber.

2. It is not allowed to use ordinary grinding wheels for pipe cutting, and special stainless steel grinding wheels or plasma cutting should be used.

3. The inner side of the weld seam should be filled with argon for protection during positioning welding of stainless steel pipes and fittings.

4. Arc starting and arc closing, arc starting adopts the re-welding method, and the arc crater should be filled with the arc crater. Arc starting must be completed in the groove. Arcing and are starting on the surface of the base material of pipes and pipe fittings are prohibited. If defects such as pores and cracks are found at the arc starting and ending points, they should be cleaned up in time.

5. The connection of stainless steel pipes, pipe fittings and stainless steel pipes, pipe fittings, and non-stainless steel pipes and pipe fittings, the welded butt joints should be filled with argon protection before the bottom welding, and then argon tungsten arc welding can be carried out.

6. The arc starting and ending points of multi-layer welding should be staggered.

7. When the stainless steel material is continuously welded, the temperature between the layers should not exceed 60 .

8. The welding seam at the welding joint of the pipeline should be pickled and passivated after welding.

9. The water pressure test of stainless steel pipes has definite requirements for water temperature and water quality. The water temperature shall not be less than 5; the chloride ion content of the water has to be greater than 25Pmm.
