The role of chromium and nickel in stainless steel pipes

Stainless steel pipe is a broad term for iron-based alloy steel with chromium content exceeding 13%, which has anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation properties through the passivation of chromium. The main component of the stainless steel pipe is iron. There is just one element that determines the properties of stainless steel pipes, and that is chromium.
