The difference between the welding requirements of stainless steel special-shaped pipe and carbon steel pipe

According to the relevant technical investigation: In general, the welding requirements of stainless steel special-shaped pipes are basically the same as those of carbon steel pipes. However, the differences are as follows:

1. The hammers and brushes used by welders are preferably made of stainless steel, which can prevent intergranular corrosion of stainless steel.

2. Before welding stainless steel special-shaped pipes, stainless steel brushes, acetone or alcohol, and banana water should be used to carefully remove the dirt and oil stains on the groove surface of the opposite end of the pipe and within 30mm of the inner and outer walls.

3. The stainless steel grooved pipe after cleaning should be welded within 2 hours to avoid contamination again.

4. The burrs on the groove surface of the stainless steel special-shaped pipe should be cleaned with a file or emery cloth, so that the welding rod and the pipe can be tightly combined after welding.
