What is a stainless steel profile

Stainless steel profiles are stainless steel materials with different cross-sectional shapes obtained by hot melting and extruding stainless steel rods. The production process of stainless steel profiles mainly includes three processes: casting, extrusion, and coloring. Among them, coloring mainly includes: oxidation, electrophoretic coating, fluorocarbon spraying, powder spraying, wood grain transfer, and other processes.
Stainless steel angle steel: specifications ∠10mmX10mm——∠150mmX150mm
Stainless steel flat steel, stainless steel square steel: specifications 10mmX10mm——750mmX750mm

Stainless steel profile classification
First, classification by use
1. Architectural stainless steel profiles (divided into two types: doors, windows, and curtain walls).
2. Radiator stainless steel profile
3. General industrial stainless steel profiles: mainly used for industrial production and manufacturing, such as automated machinery and equipment, enclosure skeletons, and each company’s customized mold opening according to its mechanical equipment requirements, such as assembly line conveyor belts, elevators, dispensing machines, Testing equipment, shelves, etc. are mostly used in the electronic machinery industry and clean rooms.
4. Rail vehicle structure: mainly used for rail vehicle body manufacturing.

Second, classification according to alloy composition
It can be divided into 1024, 2011, 6063, 6061, 6082, 7075, and other alloy-grade stainless steel profiles, among which 6 series is the most common. The difference between different grades is that the ratio of various metal components is different, except for the commonly used aluminum profiles for doors and windows. Except for architectural stainless steel profiles such as 60 series, 70 series, 80 series, 90 series, curtain wall series, etc., there is no clear distinction between stainless steel profiles. Most manufacturers process them according to the actual drawings of customers.
