The detection of welding steel pipe.

The detection of welding steel pipe.

In terms of the physical method: the physical inspection is a way to measure or test with the help of some physical phenomena. The inspection of materials or internal workpiece defects conditions, generally adopts the method of nondestructive flaw detection. The current nondestructive detections are: ultrasonic testing, X-ray detector, penetration inspection, magnetic testing, etc.

1.Density inspection:for the welding container to store liquid or gas, its no dense weld defects, such as the perfoliate crack, air hole, slag inclusion, incomplete fusion and loose organization, etc., can be found with the density test.

The density testing methods are: kerosene test, water test, impact test, etc.

2.Judgment on the surface(the visual inspection).

The welding joint inspection is a kind of widely used test method with quite simple procedure, and is an important content of the finished product inspection, mainly to find out the weld defects on the surface and size deviation.

Testing methods:usually observe by the naked eye, and test with the aid of standard samples, gauges and magnifying glass test tool.

If the defects exist on the weld surface , it has a big possibility to have defects inside the weld.

3.The strength inspection of the pressure vessel: pressure vessel, besides the leakage test, shall also carry out the strength test.

Two kinds of common used are hydrostatic test and pressure test.

They can both test the weld density of pressure vessel and pipelines working under pressure.Pressure test is more sensitive and fast than the hydrostatic test,at the same time, after testing, the products do not need to carry out drainage treatment ,which makes it especially suitable for the product with drainage difficulties. But the dangers of pressure test is larger than the hydrostatic test.So during the test,we must observe the corresponding safety technical measures, in case of accidents occurred in the process of test.
